So, what is it about monsoon that sets it apart from all the other seasons and makes one crave a different variety of food. Well, nobody really knows the reason behind it but it is perhaps thanks to the beautiful climate that it brings along with it; but what we DO know is the awesome food that you can have to satisfy your hunger during the rainy season! So with this start of monsoon season, here are the best foods to eat in rainy season.

Cutting Chai

The typical masala tea or ginger tea is a perfect thing to have in the cold rainy weather. This one drink, which can beat all the others when it comes to the monsoon, and whether you are standing on the streets or inside a building, the combination of rain and tea is sure to improve your mood and give you a very comfortable feeling.

Pav Bhaji

This popular Mumbai dish is yet another food item that should be eaten in the rainy season. The hot and spicy bhaji is served with tava fried pavs which are soft and buttery. The combination of spicy bhaji, pavs and chopped onions is great, and it becomes only better when eaten while enjoying the view of rains or after getting drenched. This typical Mumbai snack item is one of the best food items to have in the monsoon. The hot vadas stuffed in soft pavs along with spicy chutneys are served with green chilies to give you an all-round spicy feeling.
